Dan Russotto is a Software Engineer Co-op for Harvard Catalyst’s Biomedical Informatics Program. He comes into this co-op with previous experience as a front-end web developer and a data engineer, working with technologies such as Backbone, Marionette, HPE Vertica, and Spotify’s Scio.
Dan will earn his Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from Northeastern University in May 2018, with a minor in English and a minor in Philosophy because he also likes to read and stumble through deep questions. He loves listening to music, mostly indie pop/rock, folk pop/rock and their variants, and by the time he finishes his co-op will have seen about 100 different artists in concert. He is slowly working his way up to playing music as well – his favorite instrument is the piano and as of December 2016, has started to learn how to play it.
